Pet, horse & farm care in Oklahoma · by Kimberlyn

You go about your day. I'll take care of theirs.

I'm Kimberlyn, an Oklahoma State grad. I do drop-in visits, walks and vacation care for dogs and cats, and I feed, turn out and look after horses and farm animals while you're away. The Daily Paw is just me, so the person who meets your animals is the person who shows up every visit.

It always starts with a free Paw-Date: I come meet you and your animals before anything is booked.

Meet your sitter

Hi, I'm Kimberlyn Russell

I'm an Oklahoma State graduate trained in veterinary practices, and the owner of The Daily Paw. I bring personalized care and enrichment right to your animals' own home, whether that's a dachshund on the couch or horses in the pasture.

When you book The Daily Paw, you're booking me. I'm the one who meets you, learns your animals' routines, keeps your key and sends your updates. If something ever seems off, you'll hear from me right away, and your vet's number is already in my notes.

Horses, livestock & barn chores

Leave the barn with someone who knows one

Going to a show, a sale or a family trip shouldn't mean asking a neighbor who's never measured out grain. I'm comfortable around horses and farm animals, and I follow your routine exactly: your feed chart, your hay, your gate.

Every farm is different, so I price horse and farm care for your place after a free walk-through. You'll have my price before anything is booked.

For your horses

  • Grain and hay fed by your chart, supplements included
  • Troughs and buckets checked, scrubbed and refilled
  • Turnout and bring-in on your schedule
  • Blankets on and off as Oklahoma's weather swings
  • Stalls mucked and fresh bedding down
  • Fly spray and fly masks through the summer
  • A hands-on check every visit: legs, hooves, eyes, appetite and manure

For the rest of the farm

  • Goats, sheep and pigs fed and watered
  • Chickens fed, coop checked, eggs collected
  • Rabbits, barn cats and the dogs who run the place
  • Gates, fences and latches checked on my way out
  • If anything seems off, I text you right away, with your vet's number already on hand

How it works

Three steps to your first visit

  1. Request your dates

Pick a service and days online. It takes about two minutes, and you'll add your animals' vaccine records once, not every time.

  2. We meet at your place

A free Paw-Date or barn walk-through. I meet your animals, learn the routine, and we sort out keys or gate codes together.

  3. You relax, I'm on it

I send a note after every visit. Pay online, or hand me cash or a check and save 5%.

Questions

Good to know

Is it really just you?

Yes. The Daily Paw is me, Kimberlyn. Nobody else gets your key, and your animals see the same person every visit. Because it's just me, I keep my schedule to what I can do well, so book early for holidays.

Is the meet & greet really free?

Yes. Every new client gets a free Paw-Date (or a barn walk-through for horses and livestock) before the first booking. There's no obligation to book.

Do you really take care of horses and livestock?

I do, and it's what makes The Daily Paw different. I handle feeding, water, turnout, blanketing, stalls and daily health checks for horses, plus goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and the rest. I quote farm care after a free walk-through so the price fits your place.

What happens if my animal needs a vet?

I'll do my best to reach you first, then take your animal to your vet (or the nearest one) if it's urgent. Your vet's name and number are in my notes from the day you book.

How do I pay, and why is cash cheaper?

Once I confirm your dates, you'll get a payment link. Pay online, or with cash or a check. Cash and check skip card and app fees, so I take 5% off.

Can I cancel?

You can cancel online from My bookings any time before your first day. After that, just text or email me.

Do you cover my area?

Probably! Text or email me your address and I'll let you know before you book.
